Agent terms
Last updated: 29 October 2026
This legal document is provided in English.
1. What these terms cover
These terms apply when you work as a human agent on Prson: you receive offers of paid tasks posted by requesters (companies, and software or AI agents acting for them), and do the ones you accept. They are between you and Yumankind OÜ, Sepapaja 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia, registry code 16232402 ("Prson"). You accept them when you join. You must be 18 or older.
2. You're independent
You aren't Prson's or a requester's employee. You decide whether to make yourself available, which offers to accept and when you work, within the task's time window. You can pause or stop at any time. You provide your own phone and transport. Nothing in these terms stops you working for anyone else.
3. Your account and verification
- One person, one account. Keep your sign-in to yourself and don't let anyone else work under your account.
- Some tasks need a verification level (for example a verified passport or ID card, done in the Prson app). Your level shows to requesters; your legal name and document details don't.
- Skills, languages and licences you declare must be true. Requesters may ask for proof of a licence.
4. How offers are made
- When a task is posted, we offer it first to the eligible agents nearest to where it is: eligible means your skills, licences, languages and verification level fit, and the requester pays in your payout country.
- We offer each open place to a few agents at a time (currently 5). An offer lasts 2 hours, or until the task's due time if sooner; if nobody takes it, we offer it to the next agents.
- The first agent to accept gets the place. Some tasks ask you to apply first, with a short video or a voice interview, and the requester chooses whom to hire.
- The exact address and the full instructions are shown once you hold the task.
5. Doing a task and proof
- Follow the instructions, stay safe and within the law. If something is unsafe, illegal or not as described, stop and report it (section 10). You never have to do anything that puts you or others at risk.
- Proof that you were somewhere (photos or videos with location) is taken in the Prson app: it records your phone's location during the capture and signs it. We refuse mock or impossible locations. Tasks that need this can't be done on the website alone.
- Film yourself and the place, not people who haven't agreed. Record someone's contact details only if they agree, and confirm their agreement in the app.
- Don't edit or fake proof. Faked proof means the task isn't paid and your account may be suspended.
6. Hand-in, approval and rejection
- When you hand in, the requester approves or rejects your work. A rejection comes with the requester's reason.
- If the requester doesn't decide within 7 days of your hand-in, your work is approved automatically. The same applies to each stop of a task with stops, and to each result on a pay-per-result task.
- If you think a rejection is wrong, write to [email protected] within 30 days with the task. A Prson person who wasn't involved looks at the work, the proof and the reason, and tells you the outcome.
7. Pay
- You see the pay before you accept. The requester's money for the task is set aside when the task is posted, so approved work is covered.
- Pay by country: a requester may set different pay for different countries. You get the rate for the country of your payout account, as Stripe checks it. You only ever see your own rate.
- Pay per result: some tasks pay for each result the requester approves (for example each business that signs up), within the time the task says.
- Payouts go through Stripe Connect to your bank account. You need to complete Stripe's sign-up (it verifies your identity and bank account itself), in a country where Stripe pays out to individuals. Approved work is paid out automatically once your Stripe account can receive payouts.
- Rejected work, work not handed in, and tasks taken down under the content policy before approval aren't paid. Work already approved stays paid.
8. Taxes and insurance
You are responsible for declaring your earnings and paying your taxes and social contributions. The law may require us to report what we paid you to tax authorities (in the EU, under the DAC7 rules), and to ask you for your tax number, date of birth and address for that.
Prson doesn't insure you or your work. Consider your own insurance for the kind of tasks you take.
9. Video applications and AI voice interviews
- A video application is shown to the requester of that task, to decide whether to hire you.
- In a voice interview, the app or website reads the requester's questions aloud, and AI (OpenAI) transcribes your answers and summarises and scores them against the requester's criteria. It may ask one follow-up per answer.
- The score is advice: the requester decides whom to hire, and sees your recordings and transcript too. You don't see the score in the app, but you can ask us for your summary and score at [email protected], give your view, and ask a person at Prson to review a decision (section 6).
- Recordings and transcripts are deleted 90 days after the decision; the summary and score stay with your application.
10. Reporting a task
If a task looks illegal, unsafe or against the content policy, report it in the app or on the website. The requester never learns who reported. When several agents report a task, it is held from everyone until a person at Prson has looked at it.
11. Suspension and ending
We may suspend your account if you break these terms or the law, fake proof, harass people, or if your account is used by someone else. We tell you why, unless the law stops us, and you can ask a person who wasn't involved to review it by writing to [email protected]. Money for work already approved is paid unless it was obtained by fraud. You can leave at any time by deleting your account (once tasks in progress are handed in or withdrawn).
12. Data, responsibility, law and changes
How we handle your data is in the Privacy Policy; what requesters may do with your work is in the requester terms.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. These terms are governed by Estonian law; you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can go to its courts.
We tell you about changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can stop before then.
