Requester and API terms
Last updated: 29 October 2026
This legal document is provided in English.
1. What these terms cover
These terms apply to organisations that post tasks for human agents on Prson, whether through the console at agents.prson.net, the API, the MCP server or an app connected with OAuth ("you", "requester"). They are between your organisation and Yumankind OÜ, Sepapaja 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia, registry code 16232402 ("Prson"). You accept them for your organisation when you request access or create an API key, and confirm you may bind it. Requester accounts are for businesses, not consumers.
2. Access, keys and connected apps
- We review requests for access by hand and may refuse them.
- Keep API keys secret; you are responsible for what is done with your keys and the apps you connect. Revoke a key or an app as soon as you suspect misuse.
- Apps you connect with OAuth (for example an AI assistant using the MCP server) act within the scopes you grant, and within the spending cap you set for them. Access tokens last 1 hour and refresh tokens 30 days; you can disconnect an app at any time.
- Requests are rate limited per IP address and per minute. Don't try to get around limits or probe others' data.
3. Prepaid balance, fees and refunds
- Tasks are paid from a prepaid balance that you top up by card through Stripe, in EUR, USD, GBP, CAD or AUD (from 10 to 50,000 per top-up).
- Posting a task reserves its full cost from your balance: the agents' pay (at the highest country rate when pay differs by country, and the maximum number of results on a pay-per-result task) plus Prson's fee of 20% on top. Money that isn't spent (places not filled, work rejected, results not reached, a task cancelled) goes back to your balance.
- Agents' work you don't approve or reject within 7 days of hand-in is approved automatically and paid.
- Unused balance: write to [email protected] to have balance that isn't reserved for a task refunded to the card it came from.
- If you dispute a card payment that funded your balance, we suspend your organisation while the dispute is open.
- Prices exclude any taxes that apply.
4. What you may ask of agents
Every task must follow the content policy, which is part of these terms. Tasks are screened when posted (rules and automated moderation); some are held until a person has looked at them, and some are refused. Write clear, truthful instructions, with the real place and time, and pay that is fair for the work. Don't ask agents to share personal contact details with you outside Prson or to work for you off the platform to avoid fees.
5. Reviewing work
- Approve or reject each piece of work, giving a reason when you reject. Decide in good faith, on the instructions you gave.
- Agents can ask Prson to review a rejection. If we find the work met your instructions, we may approve it and pay it from the task's reserve.
6. Interview scores and hiring decisions
Voice interviews give you an AI-generated summary and score. Using them to choose whom to hire may make you a deployer of an AI system under the EU AI Act, and the rules on automated decisions in the GDPR apply. You agree to:
- treat the score as advice and have a person decide, looking at the recordings or transcript and not the score alone;
- write questions and criteria that relate to the task, and that don't ask about or score health, ethnic origin, religion, sexual orientation, political views, union membership, age, disability or other protected characteristics;
- tell agents, where you are required to, that AI is used, and answer their questions about your decision;
- not use interviews or applications for anything other than hiring for that task.
If you connect your own AI agent to decide for you, you remain responsible for these decisions.
7. Personal data: roles and processing terms
Prson is the controller of agents' accounts and of running the network (matching, verification, payouts). For the content of your tasks (what you ask agents to capture, the proof, reports from stops, including contact details of people who agreed to share them, video applications and interview recordings, transcripts and scores), you decide the purposes, so you are a controller of that data. Prson processes it on your behalf, as your processor, on these terms (GDPR Art. 28):
- We process it only to run your tasks and deliver results to you, on your documented instructions (your task settings and API calls), unless the law requires otherwise.
- People who handle it are bound to confidentiality; we protect it with the measures described in our Privacy Policy.
- You authorise the sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy; we tell you about changes there in advance and you can object.
- We help you answer requests from data subjects and with security, breach notification and impact assessments, as far as we can.
- We delete it on the schedule in the Privacy Policy (for example proof after 12 months, interview recordings 90 days after the decision) or return it on request at the end, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- We give you the information needed to show compliance, and allow reasonable audits on notice.
Once you download or receive results through the API or webhooks, your own copies are your responsibility. You need your own lawful basis, and must give the people concerned the information the GDPR requires.
8. Suspension and moderation decisions
We may take down a task, or suspend your organisation (its keys and connected apps stop working, its running tasks are held, and payouts it funds are paused), if you break these terms, the content policy or the law, or a card payment is disputed. Each time we email you a statement of reasons: what we decided, the facts, the rule, whether it was automated, and how to contest it. You can ask for a review within 6 months by replying to [email protected]; a person who wasn't involved reviews it. You can also go to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body, or a court.
9. Responsibility, law and changes
Prson provides the network; the agents are independent and we don't guarantee that a task will be taken, done on time or meet your goals. Our liability to you is limited to the fees you paid Prson in the 12 months before the claim, except where the law doesn't allow a limit. You are responsible for your tasks and their lawfulness, and will cover our costs from claims caused by tasks that break these terms.
These terms are governed by Estonian law, and the courts of Tallinn (Harju County Court) have jurisdiction.
We tell you about changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. You can stop using Prson before then.
